Priscilla Wazara is a Zimbabwean born minister of the Gospel who gave her life to the Lord in 1984. The youngest of seven children, her passion for prayer was ignited as a child by observing her own mother spend hours in prayer and see God respond. As a result, prayer became her lifestyle. She is the author of “Travail-The Lost Art of Intercession,” a book birthed out of her own personal journey and encounters spent in countless hours of prayer. Her book shows how we can become fully yielded vessels (spirit, soul and body) to the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer, and calls the body of Christ back to this overlooked and often misunderstood “lost art of intercession”.

Priscilla has a passion for Godly succession to the next generation. She also strongly believes in women empowerment, the observance of the order of God and that balance and obedience to God’s word is foundational. She flows in the spirit of wisdom and understanding and is an anointed speaker in the area of prophetic prayer and intercession. God has given her a burden to encourage the body of Christ in this area for the nations, a call which has seen her establishing prayer networks in and around Zimbabwe. Her dream is to see the body of Christ equipped to engage in effective prayer and intercession all over the globe

In 2011 she founded Threshing Floor Ministries; an interdenominational ministry with a primary mandate, among other assignments, to pray for the nation of Zimbabwe, groom intercessors as well as foster and promote cooperate prayer for the purpose of building and edifying families and the body of Christ as a whole.

In 2019 Birthing a Nation was born, with a primary focus of turning Zimbabwe into a house of prayer through prayer and fasting.

The Father Heart of God is a ministry she founded in 2020, whose mandate is to release the heart of God for His body through revelation. It is a ministry that is calling believers back to intimacy with God above all else by accepting the invitation to lie on His bosom and get fresh, new revelation that we have not come into before, as the Holy Spirit teaches us Himself.

Priscilla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. She is also a qualified Image Consultant.

She and her husband, Dr Matthew Wazara, serve as Pastors at Faith Ministries in Zimbabwe. She is a mother of four, and currently lives in Harare, Zimbabwe with her family.
